Our Farm's Story

Buttercup Farm is our home, our joy.

About 15 years ago, in 2005, we connected the decline in health of some of our family members with agricultural chemicals and nutrient deficiencies and decided it was time to pivot to a healthier and more naturally-sustainable way to grow food.

We saw the importance of removing chemicals, hormones, antibiotics, GMOs and soy from our diet and the diet of our farm animals.

We also saw the need for nutrient-dense foods as fuel for our good health.

In 2006, we learned about the good works of the Weston A. Price Foundation*, became a member of that organization, and incorporated their teachings of real, nutrient-dense food into our life.

Thus started our mission to produce healthy, real whole food not only for our family but for other families as well.  "Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food."

"Curious people ask questions. Determined people find answers. Successful people do both."

Wishing you and yours the best of health always,The Farmers @ Buttercup Farm
